Alright, I just had a flash that stopped me. Last year I was soundly employed in NYC with a top dealer in the art market, handling artwork that I wrote papers about during college, making a paycheck that allowed me to live well in a city where cigarettes are $9.50, and preparing to marry my beautiful Texan fiance. The reason this thought stopped me is that I had it while I was sitting on my couch, eating an old baked potato with a side of hot dog - with no bun, while my pitbull Radar sits and stares at me with one of my socks in her mouth and I watch NASCAR on FOX because it's the only channel one can get without cable in the new city I live in which is Austin, Texas. It's interesting how changing dramatically different environments very fast can leave your mind in two places at once. I think this is what dimensions are. Or this is just what happens to every man who is not from Texas and marries a woman from Texas. You end up in Texas. And I couldn't be more content.
